Hate to say it, but it's true.
Just like the RTX 4080 made itself pointless by being so close in price (but not performance) to the RTX 4090, so too with the 7900 XT in relation to the 7900 XTX.
There's no room on the product stack for it.

It's sad but the top ends of both AMD and Nvidia are more or less unobtainable for most users right now. Spending more than $500 on a video card that isn't for a professional workstation just doesn't make sense.
What's going to matter is when the tech comes down the stack.
The 7900 XTX is too expensive. The RTX 4090 is too expensive.
But hopefully the tech improvements will translate down to cards like the RX 7600 and the RTX 4060, and both will finally be priced for a post-crypto world.
